I took that picture above in the cockpit of an old Boeing 377 Stratocruiser. Flying that 4-engine prop plane took a flight crew of 4, relying on each other, years of training, the ground crew, and the reliability of the equipment. It took more than enthusiasm and good intentions to take off, fly well, and land safely.
